A. Yes. For a bespoke quotation call us on 07729497831 for a bulk booking discount.
Q. Can bouncy castles be used in high winds?
A. Unfortunately not. In the 5 years of trading we have only once ever had to cancel all outside bouncy castle bookings due to high winds. The legal wind speed limit set out by the HSE is 24mph, your children's safety is of paramount importance to us and if a weather warning is put in place by the MET office then we will adhere to their protocol.
Q. What do your hire charges include?
A. All hire charges include the delivery, set up and collection for you. We also supply all the accessories that include the electric blower, 30 metre extension cables, safety crash mats, anchor stakes..
Q. What kind of surface area do you require for the bouncy castle?
A. All bouncy castles and inflatables require a flat grassed area with easy access into the garden without steps. The area also needs to be clear of sharp objects, dog mess and excessive mud.
Q. Can the bouncy castle be set up be set up on tarmac/ concrete, gravel, decking, stones, pebbles or chippings?
A. We can only set up bouncy castles outside on a flat grassed area so that they are safely anchored into the ground with anchor stakes. Our bouncy castles cannot be set up outside on concrete, gravel, tarmac, decking, stones, pebbles or artificial surfaces. The reason for this is that each anchor point requires a weight of 163kg as per BSEN 14960 regulations. The only alternative is to drill into the pavement and this is a service that WE DO OFFER.
Q. How much room do I need?
A. You must have enough space for the bouncy castle. We recommend that you leave at least an additional 2ft of space at either side to allow for movement, as well as 2ft at the back for any wiring and for the inflator / fan.
Q. Can the bouncy castle be set up indoors?
A. Yes. Bouncy castles are always popular choices for inside local halls, community centres, schools, nurseries, church halls etc….
Q. Can we move the bouncy castle?
A. No, for insurance reasons, the bouncy castle has to be delivered and set up by our team and not moved once we have left.
Q. When the bouncy castle is delivered, do I have to set it up myself?
A. As part of the bouncy castle hire service, we will come along on the day, set everything up for you at the agreed time and come back and dismantle everything for you at the agreed time. We will require one main power supply from the house, garage or outside supply.
Q. What if I haven’t got a power point close by?
A. At an extra hire cost, we can supply a petrol blower. You will however need to top this up every 2-3 hours. If you have a generator then all of our electric blowers for kid’s castles are 1.1 kw so you will require a 3Kva generator per blow
Q. Do I need to keep the blower running?
A. Yes, in order to keep the bouncy castle inflated, the electric blower does need to be left on. If you wish to switch it off at all, then just turn the power off at the wall and take the plug out.
Q. How long does it take to set up and pack away the bouncy castle?
A. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes to set everything up for you and go through the safe conditions of use and then at least 15 minutes to pack everything away. Times may vary however depending on which bouncy castle you hire.
